Helen is a native Houstonian. Helen received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) from the University of Houston. While attending graduate courses at The University of Houston-Clear Lake, she also worked as a certified elementary school educator. She later attended PIMA Medical Institute, where she obtained an associate degree in Physical Therapy.
Helen’s attraction to physical therapy began at an early age after suffering a knee injury in dance class. Helen was able to see firsthand how effective physical therapy was at returning her to dancing. Helen feels passionate about helping people reach their individual goals so they can return to the activities they love. Helen’s background in education along with her clinical knowledge provides her with a unique set of skills that allow her to connect with people at a personal level while achieving their therapy goals.
When Helen is not helping clients at Pinnacle Therapy, she enjoys dancing, cooking, and spending time with her dogs (Tobey and Buster).
