Frequently Asked Questions

What insurances are you in network with? We are currently in network with BlueCross BlueShield and Medicare.

What if I have Insurance other than BlueCross BlueShield or Medicare? We can see you under your “out of network” benefits. The cost to you may vary depending on your insurance plan. Pinnacle Therapy makes every attempt to work with your insurance carrier.

I haven’t met my deductible this year. What will this cost? Pinnacle Therapy will still bill your insurance carrier towards your deductible. The maximum out of pocket will be $100/visit and $125/evaluation. If your insurance carrier does reimburse some or all of a treatment, it will be subtracted from the above charges.

Do I have to have a doctor’s prescription? For physical, occupational, or speech therapy, a doctor’s prescription is required. We can assist you in getting one from your physician if needed. For the Exercise Based Wellness Program, no doctor’s prescription is needed.

What do I bring to my appointment? Upon arrival you will be greeted by a therapist and asked to provide your driver’s license, insurance cards and your doctor’s referral.

Are there forms I will be required to fill out? A client registration form, consent form and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) form are required. One of our therapists can assist you with filling these out if needed.

How long is my visit? Do I share my time with other clients? We reserve 60 minutes for each visit. Our therapists only work one-on-one with each client so your time with your therapist is not shared with other clients.

What do I wear? It is encouraged that you wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that are modest in nature to allow participation in active treatment programs. For safety and hygiene, lace-up, closed toe shoes are encouraged. At times, you may be required to change into shorts and a t-shirt or a gown to allow the therapist to properly treat you.

Will I have time to ask questions? Absolutely! A large part of therapy sessions revolves around education and communication between the client and therapist. Sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes to allow for plenty of Q&A time.

How many times a week will I have to come to therapy? Frequency (visits per week) will be established during the initial evaluation with input from the ordering doctor, therapist and you.
